US Industrial Production Up 1.6% in December

Now seeing its third straight monthly increase, U.S industrial production has rose 1.6% last month, 0.5% in November and a 1% increase in October. This breakdown falls 5% in the auto sector, 1.6% in mining production and utilities' output rose 6.2%. Although monthly gains have steadily increased, manufacturing is still down 3.3% compared to pre-pandemic numbers.
