FAA Outlines New Drone Rules

The Federal Aviation Administration has announced another milestone last Monday, now allowing drones to fly over people and at night, getting them closer and closer to drone operations use for package delivery. Even though drones are the fastest growing segment in all of transportation, having over 1.7 million registered devices, commercial use for drones has been a slow crawl with many limited uses for the big delivery giants. Amazon is already 2 years behind their goal of using drones to deliver goods to customers and USPS received approval last year and has made hundreds of deliveries to a campus in North Carolina. | Read more
